Here we have the culmination of several improvements to the printing tool. A popular request from users was to make more of the print settings persistent between jobs. Also, you can save custom headers and footers and recall them at later times or set default ones. Page size, orientation, margins, header and footer customizations: font family, size, style, alignment, decoration.

Import patient images with modalities not already on the site (#1305)
Before this release XVWeb would populate this list with the DICOM modalities already added. New modalities could be added only by importing a DICOM file with that modality. Now, you can select from an expanded list of common dental imaging modalities.

Known Issues
Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) End of Support from Apteryx in 2020
We are finding IE11 to be a big liability for continued support. Microsoft has released new and robust versions of Edge, a browser build like Chrome, that can handle XVWeb very well. Edge works on Windows 7, 8, and 10. We constantly test against Chrome, Edge, and Firefox, but we only check that very basic features (such as searching, displaying 2D images, and exporting) work in IE11. We strongly recommend all customers to stop using IE11 for XVWeb, and move to a modern, supported browser.
