Version 2.2.09 (2020-02-27)

• IMPORTANT The new Edit privilege (AD FS XVWebEdit claim) is the only privilege capable of using the Advanced Edit tool. As of the End of January 2020 Admin no longer has this privilege. Please update all user privileges appropriately.

New Features

Kiwi help

• Adding help button (#1005, #1081)
  We are rolling out in-product guides and help boxes. In this release, we have concentrated these help buttons in the Export panels.
  The help button feature is disabled by default in the Site Settings panel. When enabled, you will see this Kiwi:

  

  Clicking the kiwi will open a window with more information on the attached tool or setting.

Printing

• Persistent headers and footers. (#986, #987, #966, #965)
  The settings and text in the print header and footer can be saved and recalled.

Save As

• Patient name font size proportional to the composite image. (#982)

Legacy API

• Removed access to legacy API. Use the new API. (#1048)

Patient Edit

• Basic patient Edit (#1050)
  For users with Edit privilege, the patient information can be edited from the View Page without going into Advanced Edit. These edits affect all patient records, as opposed to specific records in Advanced Edit.
• Fixes in Advanced Edit

Email

• Internal email improvements (#1056)
  To prevent emails sent through XVWeb from being rejected by other email servers, we are implementing the following:
  • A new static, dedicated IP address for outgoing messages.
  • The from address will be from the site domain: i.e.: example@xvweb.net for example.xvweb.net.
  • The from address is no-reply.
  • the reply-to address will be the user’s email address.

User Management

• Fixed user modality restrictions (#1028)
• Fixed sharing multiple patients to a user (#1041)

3D Viewer

• Create custom implant library lists (#1022)
  Practices can control which implant libraries are available in the 3D viewer.

Series Preview Bar

• Series Preview Bar should progressively show all images (#1061)
  The arbitrary limit of 100 images has been removed

User Interface

• On the View page, the Back button has been replaced with the Search button.
  “Search” more accurately describes the action of this button.

Know Issues

• Chrome automatically offers to put user passwords in the password fields for ZIP files when Exporting to email or downloads. Be careful and don’t accept Chrome’s suggestions.
